Ruined Propsal

I ruined my proposal.  I saw that Joe had a shirt on that he doesn't usually wear, and the first thing flying out of my mouth is “Omg are you proposing”. Joe had a long pause, and said “no”. In a basic tv show, that would be me ruining the romance of the moment. But in real life there is something telling about noticing a different shirt and in less then one second having the conclusion that there is about to be a proposal. LIke i actually know this person. I've calculated what all their shirts mean when they put it on. They probably don't even know what their shirt choice means.

That's the beauty of being outside looking in. It's easier to understand or see the patterns when you're the one looking at the shirt. When you are looking out, the constant eye movement distracts you from putting the pieces together.

Isnt that what marriage is really about anyways truly knowing the person. Knowing and hating their same merry go round stories. Not seeing them as their outershell, but a flawed individual, and still loving them.

For the record it wasnt like a tux, it was a regular button down shirt(something he wears often).
