Pivot?

Welp! I'm probably never going to be in the olympics. The sport that I've secretly always held a torch for was the one women laser radial. I told this to Joe yesterday and we did some research and apparently that sport is no longer going to be in the olympics. I don't want to believe it. I really thought I could do it. 

Maybe I'm wrong about a lot of things. Joe says I need to pivot my dream. When I imagine getting to the Olympics I have this picture that I’d make the local Orange County Registers. The title of the article is “ Local women randomly decide to join the olympics”. It's not about winning. It's about adding the title olympian to my instagram bio. It's about having a wikipedia page about me. It's about everyone who ever thought i was a nobody murmuring to their moms that “ do you know that katie got into the olympics…..weird, right?”. It was maybe id become a meme about someone who decided to level up seemingly out of nowhere. A metamorphosis. Showing people that they could change! CHANGE! Obama was right.
