Shit Stains

Seeing my fathers shit stained underwear has unsettled me. Is it so hard to wipe your butt till there isn't any poop left? Are you that busy? Does you shit not stink like the rest of us? 

My mother is the real victim in this. She's done his laundry since the beginning of time. Metaphorically and physically. 

Even though she still does his laundry. There is still shit-stained underwear pulled in the corner of his bathroom.

At first I wanted to believe it's just an older person thing, but I see metaphorical shit stains everywhere in the house.
