Unreal
Bigfoot, Unicorns, and fairies aren't real!! I know, I'm very profound. Yet it exists in our minds. Other things that exist in our mind, but don't organically happen in real life are food fights. No one really does this. It's a mess, and as someone who hates sharing food I can't imagine chucking it across the room. It makes no sense!!
Metal detects are another thing that I doubt actually happens in real life. I've seen them in movies. I just googled it, and you can buy them. But have you actually seen someone use one? What are they even looking for? I'm assuming you only find coins. Best case scenario you find lost jewelry. As someone who has tried to pawn my jewelry, it's a bad market to be in. Pawn shops want certificates of expensive jewelry. AND they offer way below market. If we factor in how many hours you've spent combing the beach, it doesn't seem to be economical.
Can people really harness constructive criticism? Does playing devil's advocate actually help anyone?
